Taking on freelance projects · Open to remote roles

I build web and mobile products and make sure they hold up in production. My home turf is the backend and the architecture and infrastructure behind it.

Selected work

Three products I built from scratch, and the decisions that shaped them.

Tupe

Second-hand fashion, minus the scams.

A marketplace for buying and selling clothes without worrying about getting scammed. I'm a cofounder and the only developer, and it's in beta with users.

  • Protected payments: sellers get paid only after the buyer confirms the item arrived.
  • Verified sellers, built-in shipping and search that rewards reputation.
  • A modular monolith instead of microservices: with a small team, simple beats trendy.

Local shopping, built for small towns.

Restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, ice cream shops and every other shop in town, all in one app. I built the whole thing myself, and it's about to launch.

  • A customer app, plus a panel where each store runs its orders, products and promotions.
  • Built-in payments: each store connects its own account and gets paid directly.
  • Fraud prevention that scores each user's risk and asks for upfront payment when something looks off.
  • Live order tracking, right on the iPhone lock screen.

CoPropiedades

Short stays in Rosario, sorted.

A mobile app for finding a place to stay, mostly short-term rentals: browse listings, search on the map and request a visit. Behind it, an internal web panel to manage everything. I built both for a client, and the app is live on the stores.

  • Map search that only loads what's on screen, so browsing stays fast as listings grow.
  • Visit requests instead of instant booking: the owner confirms each slot, the way short-term rentals actually get arranged.
  • One Django API powers both the app and an internal panel in Next.js, so every listing lives in a single place.

Experience

I started out in 2014 building interfaces. Then came databases, servers and infrastructure. These days I take on whole products.

  1. Full-stack developer

Where it started: complete web apps in PHP and MySQL, from the database schema to the screen.

    • Designed database schemas and the business logic on top of them.
    • Maintained and extended existing apps, legacy systems included.

Tools: PHP · MySQL · JavaScript

Layers: Interfaces, Backend & APIs, Data & infrastructure.

  2. Web UI developer

Responsive interfaces for production web apps, wired to REST APIs.

    • Interactive experiences that work across browsers.
    • Front-end performance and usability improvements.

Tools: HTML · CSS · JavaScript

    Layers: Interfaces.

  3. Full-stack developer

Business web apps in Laravel: REST APIs, backend services and the features people use.

    • Made existing systems faster by optimizing the app and its database.
    • From implementation and debugging to deployment and production support.

Tools: Laravel · PHP · JavaScript

Layers: Interfaces, Backend & APIs, Data & infrastructure.

  4. Systems & database engineer

PostgreSQL in production, and the Linux and Windows servers underneath it.

    • Query tuning, maintenance and performance troubleshooting.
    • Automated operational tasks to cut manual work and keep everything running.

Tools: PostgreSQL · Linux · Windows Server

    Layers: Data & infrastructure.

  5. Senior full-stack engineer

Enterprise web applications with Node.js and React, inside agile teams.

    • REST APIs and backend services built to stay maintainable.
    • Integrations between front-ends, services and external systems.

    Tools: Node.js · React

    Layers: Interfaces, Backend & APIs.

  6. Senior full-stack engineer

Full-stack features in React and Django, and the architecture and infrastructure underneath them.

    • Built and maintained 20+ microservices and APIs.
    • Designed and ran the production infrastructure on Docker Swarm.
    • Reworked the deploy process and cut its time by roughly 70%.

Tools: React · Django · Docker Swarm · Prometheus · Grafana

Layers: Interfaces, Backend & APIs, Data & infrastructure.

  7. Open to projects and teams

    Full-stack & mobile engineer

On my own now: whole products, web and mobile, from the idea to production and everything after.

    Tools: Flutter · React · NestJS · Django · PostgreSQL · Redis · Docker

    • TupeCofounder and only developer of a second-hand fashion marketplace, in beta with users.
    • GrabyLocal shopping and delivery for small towns, built end to end on my own.
    • CoPropiedadesA short-term rental app in Rosario, built for a client and live on the stores.

What I reach for most: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Flutter.

Services

The whole product, one engineer. If you're building something, this is where I can help.

Products & MVPs

You bring the idea; I turn it into a working web or mobile product and see it through to launch.

Backend & architecture

APIs, data models, integrations and payments, designed to hold up as your product grows. I can also review the system you already have.

Mobile apps

iOS and Android apps in Flutter, with native code where the product needs it, like live order tracking on the iPhone lock screen. I also take care of publishing them on the stores.

Taking over existing products

Your product works, but it's outgrowing its code: new features, better performance, cleaner code and safer deploys.
